Eligibility and authority
You must be at least 13 years old. If you have not reached the age of legal majority where you live, your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms for you. The service is not intended for children under 13.
If you use Signoapp for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it. In that case, “you” includes the organization, and any separate written agreement with Signoapp controls to the extent it conflicts with these Terms.
Browser extension and Chrome Web Store
The Signoapp browser extension has one purpose: letting you save and organize web content in your Signoapp library without leaving the current tab. It accesses a page only after an action you take in the extension or its context menu. Depending on what you choose, it may process the page title and URL, selected text, links, images, or a full-page copy. Full-page capture requires a separate optional site-access permission.
Signoapp's use of information received through the extension complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use this information only to provide or improve the user-facing features you request and related security and reliability operations.
- Required permissions support the side panel, temporary access to the active tab, context-menu actions, packaged capture scripts, extension preferences, sign-in, and the hosted Signoapp canvas.
- The extension does not continuously monitor browsing or collect pages in the background. Optional access to other sites is requested only when you choose to capture a full page.
- Extension data is not sold or used for personalized advertising, retargeting, interest-based advertising, credit decisions, or purposes unrelated to the extension's disclosed single purpose.
- Human access is limited to your specific support consent, security needs, legal obligations, or aggregated and anonymized internal operations.
Accounts and security
Provide accurate account information and keep it current. You are responsible for activity under your account and for protecting sign-in methods, recovery channels, API keys, webhook secrets, and connected devices.
Do not share credentials in a way that lets others bypass account or plan limits. Notify support promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. We may require verification before restoring access or acting on a sensitive request.
The Signoapp service
Signoapp helps you capture, upload, archive, organize, search, read, export, and share links, notes, images, PDFs, highlights, and related content. Features may include browser and mobile capture, lists and collaboration, feeds, rules, backups, API access, webhooks, full-text and semantic search, and AI-assisted tools.
Features, quotas, supported formats, and availability may differ by plan, device, region, or deployment and may evolve over time. Beta or experimental features may change or be discontinued and may be less reliable than generally available features.
Your content and permissions
You retain ownership of content you submit to Signoapp. You grant Signoapp and its service providers a worldwide, non-exclusive, limited license to host, copy, process, transmit, display, and create technical derivatives of that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and provide the features you request. This license ends when the content is deleted, subject to reasonable backup and legal retention.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to save, upload, process, and share your content. Saving a public webpage does not transfer ownership of that page to you or Signoapp. You remain responsible for copyright, privacy, confidentiality, contractual, and other restrictions that apply.
Sharing and collaboration
Your library is private unless you use a sharing or collaboration feature. You control the intended audience, but people with access may copy, download, or redistribute content. Do not publish confidential information or personal data without authorization.
List owners and collaborators are responsible for their invitations and contributions. We may remove access or content when reasonably necessary to address abuse, rights violations, security risks, or legal obligations.
Acceptable use
Use Signoapp only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You may not help anyone engage in prohibited conduct.
We may investigate suspected misuse and proportionately restrict features, remove content, revoke credentials, or suspend access to protect users, third parties, and the service.
- Access another person's account, private content, credentials, or systems without authorization, or defeat authentication, quotas, rate limits, or security controls.
- Upload malware; run disruptive automation; overload, probe, scan, or interfere with Signoapp or its providers.
- Use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, harassing, exploitative, or abusive activity, or to violate another person's privacy or intellectual-property rights.
- Store or distribute content you have no right to use, illegal sexual content, material that exploits minors, or information intended to facilitate serious harm.
- Reverse engineer non-open-source portions of the service except where law expressly permits it, resell access without permission, or misrepresent affiliation with Signoapp.
- Use crawling, feeds, APIs, webhooks, or AI features in a way that violates third-party terms, robots restrictions, applicable law, or reasonable usage limits.
Plans, billing, cancellation, and refunds
Prices, billing intervals, taxes, plan limits, and renewal terms are shown before purchase. Paid subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Stripe processes payments and may require its own account or payment information. You authorize the applicable recurring charges and are responsible for taxes not collected by us.
You may cancel through subscription settings before the next renewal; access normally continues through the paid period. Except where law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable after the applicable refund window. If Signoapp advertises a 7-day money-back guarantee for your purchase, request it through support within seven days of the initial charge. Changing or ending a plan does not by itself delete your account or library.
Third-party services and integrations
Signoapp relies on and connects with third-party services, including authentication, hosting, storage, payments, email, analytics, monitoring, webpage sources, and optional AI providers. Your use of an external service is also governed by its terms and privacy practices.
We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, changes, actions, or data handling. You authorize Signoapp to exchange the information needed to perform an integration you enable and are responsible for configuring and revoking that access.
AI, search, and archived-content limitations
AI output, semantic search, OCR, generated tags and summaries, extracted metadata, and archived pages may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unavailable. They are tools for organizing and rediscovering content—not professional, legal, medical, financial, or other expert advice.
Webpages can change, block retrieval, contain malicious instructions, or be subject to third-party rights. Verify important information against an authoritative source and use your own judgment before relying on generated output or an archived copy.
Signoapp intellectual property
Signoapp and its licensors own the service, brand, design, documentation, and other materials we provide, excluding your content and third-party content. These Terms give you a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service while your account is in good standing.
Open-source components are governed by their applicable licenses. Feedback you voluntarily provide may be used without restriction or compensation, but we will not identify you publicly as its source without permission.
Suspension, termination, and service changes
You may stop using Signoapp at any time and may export supported data or request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary for a material or repeated breach, nonpayment, legal requirement, security risk, harm to others, or discontinuation of the service.
When practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue or export data. Rights and obligations that by their nature should survive—such as ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms—remain effective after termination.
Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Signoapp is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, permanent preservation of any webpage, error-free output, or that the service will meet every requirement. Keep independent copies of content you cannot afford to lose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Signoapp and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business interruption. Our aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid Signoapp for the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not exclude liability or consumer rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit.
Changes, disputes, and contact
We may update these Terms to reflect service, provider, legal, or security changes. We will post the revised version, update the date above, and give additional notice of material changes when appropriate. Changes apply prospectively; if you do not agree, stop using the service before they take effect.
Before filing a formal claim, you and Signoapp agree to try in good faith to resolve it through support. Mandatory consumer protections and the jurisdiction of competent courts under applicable law remain unaffected. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Contact Signoapp support with legal or service questions.
