Keep a project's references in a shared list. Add a note about why each item matters so collaborators know how to use it.

## Keep project references in one list

Collaborators can gather useful links, references, notes, and files without scattering them across a chat thread.

Example in Zotero. Group libraries have their own collections, separate from the personal library. [Zotero](https://www.zotero.org/support/groups)

## How it works

Invite people, save to one list, and keep the useful context visible to everyone involved.

## Your role in the collection

Name the contributor, source, and reason for each addition. That record helps the group resolve conflicting notes and understand which decision an item supports.

Example in Zotero. A note beside the original passage gives collaborators a source and a precise place to check. [Zotero](https://www.zotero.org/support/pdf_reader#creating_annotations)

## A practical decision

Give each shared contribution enough context

| Contribution | Add | Avoid |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Source | Reason it belongs | A bare link |
| Note | Author and decision | Anonymous instructions |
| File | Origin and permissions | Unclear ownership |

## Check the result

- [ ] Members know who can view and edit the list.
- [ ] Every item has a source or named contributor.
- [ ] Important decisions stay visible outside chat.
- [ ] Access is reviewed when someone leaves the project.

## An important limit

A shared list is not automatically a source of truth. Name owners, preserve provenance, and resolve conflicting records before relying on the collection.
